New Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy

Derrick Everett | Published on 3/12/2026

At its meeting on March 9, the Saints Board of Directors adopted a new Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy that applies to all members of the organization. The policy reflects the Saints’ ongoing commitment to maintaining a respectful, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone who participates in our activities. The policy can be found on the member page of the website under “resources”.

Volunteer organizations thrive when people feel safe, valued, and respected. Unlike
workplaces, volunteers give their time because they want to contribute to a shared mission and community. Clear policies help protect that spirit by setting expectations for behavior and by providing guidance on how concerns can be addressed if problems arise. They also ensure fairness and consistency, so that everyone understands the standards that support a positive and productive environment.

All members of The Saints regardless of their position, are covered by and expected to
comply with this policy, and to take appropriate measures to ensure that prohibited conduct does not occur.

By formally adopting this policy, the Board reinforces the Saints’ commitment to treating all
members with dignity and respect, and to ensuring that our organization remains a place where everyone can participate fully and confidently. Members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the policy and help uphold the welcoming culture that defines the Saints community.
