JQ is the Co-Founder and Creative and Musical Director of the Q Brothers Collective, the Emmy-winning hip-hop theater group celebrated for its rap “add-rap-tations” of classic works like Othello and Julius Caesar. In addition to his groundbreaking stage work, JQ is also a composer, creating original scores for productions such as FX’s The Bear.
At this BOBB presentation, Faye Ryan—current Saints President and JQ’s former high school teacher—will sit down with him for a lively conversation about his creative process, the art of adapting classic literature through hip-hop, and his unique journey through theater and music.
The program will be approximately 50 minutes with 10-15 minutes for questions. When registering, please submit your questions for JQ and/or Faye Ryan or you can send them to Trudy at

.
If you are not able to attend, please feel free to send your questions to me and they will be answered during the presentation. The BOBB Stage Series is recorded and can be found on the 'Past Events' page in the Events tab at the top of the Saints web page.
